Often when someone thinks of mission, they think of building houses and feeding the poor. This is generally not what our missions look like. We do evangelization missions where our participants are daily expected to share the Gospel with strangers. Mission can be a daily GRIND. We can have early mornings, followed by late nights. The mission may be in a country where they don't like the food, there is intense heat, and you need to pee in a hole in the ground. There can be next to no personal time and personal space.
On the flip side, we know mission is beautiful because God chooses us and uses us to change peoples lives. Participants will experience iconic moments, and they'll develop new friendships that they'll keep for the rest of their lives. They will be equipped for a lifetime of mission.
